Internships & Training

As part of Indiana University, our mission includes educating the next generation of counseling professionals. Currently, we offer three training options:

Policy Regarding Home Department Request for Supplemental Evaluations

"APPIC does NOT require its member programs to complete evaluation forms/materials requested by the academic program in addition to those created by the internship program itself." (from the APPIC Application for Psychology Internships).

The IU CAPS Predoctoral Internship in Professional Psychology has demonstrated that its learning objectives and manner in which the objectives are assessed are accredited by the American Psychological Association Commission on Accreditation. The Director of Training and members of the Training Committee stand by our ability to assess for successful achievement of these goals.  Therefore, I respectfully submit that we will not complete supplemental evaluation forms even if the APPI question about whether a home department program requested such additional evaluation material is answered ‘Yes”.
