Stefanie Greenberg Mokhtarian, Ph.D.

Stefanie Greenberg Mokhtarian earned her doctorate in counseling psychology and is a licensed Psychologist.  She is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Indiana University and teaches in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences and the Department of Counseling and Educational Psychology.  She completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral residency at University of California, Davis Counseling and Psychological Services.  Before joining CAPS, she worked as a staff psychologist at California State University, Northridge University Counseling Services.  She has particular interest in body image and eating disorder concerns, self-esteem struggles, relationship issues, anxiety, diversity issues, and group counseling.  She also has experience in providing clinical supervision and training to doctoral students and predoctoral interns. Her work is most influenced by interpersonal and cognitive-behavioral approaches.  She would be honored to meet with you to explore how she can support you in your journey at IU!
