Medical Clinic

Sick? Injured? Need a checkup?

Don’t miss out on campus life because you’re feeling lousy. We offer all the amenities of a full-service medical clinic, right here on campus. From wellness exams to gynecology to physical therapy to eye care, you’ll find what you need at the Student Health Center.

The Student Health Center offers same-day, in-person and virtual visits with our medical providers. Use our online scheduler to easily choose the date and time that works for your busy schedule. You can also make an appointment by calling 812-855-7688. If you have an urgent health problem, please call 812-856-5002 or 812-856-5003 to speak with a nurse.

We speak your language

Communication is a vital part of exceptional health care. That’s why we offer a foreign language translation service by phone for nonnative English speakers.

What can you do at the Student Health Center?

Your throat is sore? It hurts to urinate? You think you’ve sprained your ankle? Make an appointment at the Student Health Center. We offer same-day appointments Monday through Friday, so you can get in, get treated, and get back to your life.

If you have an urgent (but not life-threatening) injury or illness, call us at 812-855-7688 or come to room 216 so we can get you the care you need.

With our state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging, you don’t have to leave campus to get the X-rays you need. You can even get a copy of your high-quality digital X-rays suitable for sharing with a physical therapist or orthopedist. Our experienced team can assess your injury, take an X-ray, and refer you to a specialist for treatment.

We can only X-ray you if we get an order from a health care provider. You can make an appointment at our medical clinic, or have your family doctor send in an X-ray order. We accept orders from any U.S. medical provider (except chiropractors).

It generally takes two to three days to get a routine appointment (such as an annual checkup) with one of our medical providers. But once you arrive, you can expect to get treated quickly.

From genital exams to gender-affirming hormone therapy, our Gender Affirming Care Team has the specialized knowledge to give you the care you need in a comfortable, understanding environment.
