About Dr. Fischer

Dr. Lydia Fischer completed her medical education at Indiana University and pursued a combined residency in adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and pediatrics. She began her career as a consultation-liaison psychiatrist at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, providing integrated care for hospitalized, pediatric patients.

Now a proud member of the CAPS team at IU Bloomington, Dr. Fischer enjoys supporting students' mental health as they transition into their adult lives.
