Internship & Practicum Opportunities

Professional training through CAPS

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) will resume the psychology practicum program for the 2024–25 training year.

The social work practicum will remain paused for the 2025–26 training year.

Doctoral internship in professional psychology

If you’re currently enrolled in a doctoral program in counseling or clinical psychology, you’re eligible to apply for this one-year, APA-accredited internship.

Psychology practicum

If you’re currently enrolled in a doctoral program at IU, IUPUI, or University of Indianapolis, you’re eligible to apply for this one-year practicum.

Master's internship

If you are currently enrolled in at least your second year of an accredited Master’s of Counseling program and have completed at least one previous internship, you're eligible to apply.

Social work practicum

If you are a graduate student in at least the second year of your MSW program, you’re eligible to apply for this one-year practicum.
