Internship & Practicum Opportunities

Professional training through CAPS

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) will resume the psychology practicum program for the 2024-25 training year.

The social work practicum will remain paused for the 2024-25 in order to improve the training experience.

Doctoral internship in professional psychology

If you’re currently enrolled in a doctoral program in counseling or clinical psychology, you’re eligible to apply for this one-year, APA-accredited internship.

Psychology practicum

If you’re currently enrolled in a doctoral program at IU, IUPUI, or University of Indianapolis, you’re eligible to apply for this one-year practicum.

Social work practicum

If you are a graduate student in at least the second year of your MSW program, you’re eligible to apply for this one-year practicum.
