About Divya

Divya Patel, R.Ph. is a pharmacist at the Indiana University Health Center Pharmacy. Divya has served the Bloomington community as a pharmacist for over 15 years. She received her degree in pharmacy from the University of Pune in India. She completed her pharmacist internship and training in U.S. and is certified by the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) as an immunizing pharmacist. She also holds a Diabetes Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certificate.

Divya’s areas of interest are acute medication counseling and women’s health. She enjoys having the opportunity to interact with students and counsel them about proper use of medications and drug interactions between medications. She enjoys cooking, gardening, playing badminton, and spending time with her three sons. Divya also speaks, reads, and writes three languages: English, Gujarati, and Hindi.
