About Hannah
Hannah (she/they) joined CAPS in Fall 2023 and is a licensed Health Service Provider in Psychology (HSPP). While they have the most experience in a university counseling center setting, they have also trained in an adult in-patient psychiatric hospital. She works to meet clients where they are and adapts treatment to their individual needs but her person-centered approach is often influenced by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Feminist Therapy, and mindfulness & self-compassion.
As a queer non-binary person, Hannah’s clinical interests include sexual identity, gender identity & expression, relationship concerns, social justice, neurodivergence, adjustment to life transitions, identity development, grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, anger management, body image concerns, mindfulness, and self-compassion.
In their free time, Hannah enjoys live music, visiting museums, thrifting, watching Youtube, playing video games, and spending time with her partner. Together, they have two dogs, Aspyn and Brinley, and two cats, Kallie and Millie.
