About Jamie

Jamie joined CAPS as a full time staff member in fall of 2021. She earned her doctorate degree at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and has experience working in hospitals, the VA, and college counseling centers.

Jamie enjoys working with individuals who are going through life transitions such as career changes, beginning school, or retirement/graduation. Other clinical areas of interest are helping individuals manage anxiety/stress, athletic identity, and veterans. Jamie tailors her approach to best meet the needs of those she is working with but will typically draw from Cognitive-Behavioral, Interpersonal process, and skill building techniques.

Outside of work, Jamie is a former athlete who still loves sports including watching her Chicago Cubs. She also enjoys trying out new recipes and spending time with her family.
