About Luciana
Luciana Guardini is the Associate Director of Clinical Services at CAPS.
Luciana earned her Master of Social Work degree at the School of Social Work at University of Illinois in 2010. Since then, she has worked in the community, as well as university counseling center settings, with diverse population in the substance abuse and mental health fields.
Luciana is originally from Argentina, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She has also earned a master's degree in clinical psychology in Chile. Some of her areas of interest are: first generation college students, international students, second generation immigrant students, Latine students, anxiety, survivors of interpersonal trauma, and substance abuse.
Luciana is part of the Let’s Talk program. Her off-site locations are the Office of International Services and La Casa/Latino Cultural Center. Luciana is a native Spanish speaker and provides services in both English and Spanish.
