About Dr. Lybrook
Polly Lybrook attended Indiana University for her undergraduate and medical degrees and has been a board-certified practicing psychiatrist since 1993. Her experience includes community mental health, hospital work and several years in private practice that involved treating undergraduate and graduate students, professors and other university-affiliated staff. Most recently before joining the CAPS staff, she enjoyed serving an internationally diverse group of medical students, residents and fellow physician trainees as well as students pursuing medical PhDs at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.
Dr. Lybrook values collaborating with individuals from the LGBTQIA+ communities and from various cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds. She has a passion for education and taught with the School of Medicine for 25 years. Dr. Lybrook appreciates the opportunity to partner with students for early identification and treatment of mental health challenges and in addition to medications, promotes incorporating lifestyle changes and wellness habits for illness prevention and recovery.
